Services

Four ways to care, one familiar sitter

Book once or set up a regular plan with the same sitter on fixed days and times. Each sitter sets their own price; you see the total and the cancellation terms before you book.

  • Dog walking

A 30 or 60 minute walk around your neighbourhood, with the route on the map and a short report afterwards.

    DogsPer walk

  • Home visit

The sitter comes to your home for food, water, litter, play and a quick check on how your pet is doing.

    Cats and dogsPer visit

  • Overnight care at my home

The sitter stays at your home so your pet keeps its own routine. A meet-and-greet comes first.

    Cats and dogsPer night

  • Overnight care at the sitter's home

Your pet stays with the sitter, whose home profile has been reviewed. A meet-and-greet comes first.

    Cats and dogsPer night

During the pilot, services open area by area as enough verified sitters join.

How it works

From first hello to a regular routine

  1. 1

    Find a sitter nearby

Browse sitters in your area. Each profile shows which services they offer, their prices and which checks they have passed.

  2. 2

    Meet first

Arrange a short meet-and-greet so the sitter and your pet get to know each other. It is required for overnight care.

  3. 3

    Book or set a plan

Book a single visit, or pick fixed days and times with the same sitter. Skip or move a single visit when you need to.

  4. 4

    Follow along, with a backup

Watch the walk live on the map and get a report at the end. If your sitter cancels, we suggest a backup sitter for you to approve.

Trust

Know what was checked, and when

We don't ask you to take our word for it. Every badge on a sitter's profile says exactly what was checked and when. Documents themselves never appear on a profile.

Verification badges

  • ID verified

Turkish ID card and a live selfie matched by an identity provider.

  • Criminal record checked

Barcoded e-Devlet document confirmed by our team, with the month it was checked. Renewed yearly.

  • References checked

At least two references called by our team.

  • Training completed

Safety, leash handling, escape and bite situations, medication and cat-visit protocol, with a final test.

  • Home profile approved

Only for overnight care at the sitter's home: photos or a video tour of the home reviewed.

Live map, only while the service runs

  • Location is shared only during an active walk or visit, never before or after.
  • You see the sitter's position and the route as it is walked, with stops such as water or breaks.
  • Your full address is shown only to the sitter you booked; others see an approximate area.
  • Door or entry codes are shown only to the assigned sitter, shortly before the service.

Honest reviews

Reviews can only be left after a completed service. There are no reviews on this site yet: Riko has not launched, and we will not show any until they are real.

Riko is preparing its pilot. These checks and features are being built; we will not call a service "insured" or "guaranteed" unless real coverage exists, and we will describe that coverage plainly.

Questions

Straight answers

Something else?Write to us →

  • Where is Riko available?

We are starting with a pilot in Caddebostan and Suadiye in Istanbul. We will open more neighbourhoods once the service works well there.

  • When can I book?

Riko has not launched yet. The apps and booking open with the pilot; until then you can write to us or apply as a sitter.

  • How are sitters verified?

Through a step-by-step application: phone and email, ID and live selfie, criminal record document, references, training and a short video call. Each completed check shows as a badge on the profile with what was checked and when.

  • What happens if my sitter cancels?

We suggest a backup sitter nearby who is available at that time. Nothing changes until you approve the backup.

  • Is the service insured?

Not at the moment. Coverage has not been decided yet. If we offer it, we will describe exactly what it covers before you book; until then we make no "insured" or "guaranteed" claims.

  • Who sees my address and entry code?

Only the sitter you booked. Others see an approximate area on the map. Entry codes are shown to the assigned sitter only shortly before the service.

  • When is location tracked?

Only while a walk or visit is in progress. When the service ends, tracking stops and the route goes into the report.

  • How much does it cost?

Each sitter sets prices per walk, visit or night. You see the full amount and the cancellation terms before you book.
